The Leadership Academy is specifically designed to benefit each candidate. The Academy spans five sessions consisting of three days each which are strategically spaced across the continuum of a year. The Academy is designed around human dynamics and each Candidate must commit to attending all five sessions to realize the maximum potential for themselves and for fellow classmates. Learning is contingent on each previous session.

The objective of the Leadership Academy is to lead the participants to a practical understanding of the four key variables that influence an organization’s effectiveness: Individual Competencies, Job Requirements, Management Styles, and the Organizational Climate. Helping business professionals understand how these four variables affect the organization as a whole and interact with one another becomes the basis of this leadership academy. The Academy will present experiences and training in each of these areas. The objective of this Academy is to help the participants understand how these four variables come together in order to enhance the performance of the organization. The participants will learn to use a variety of assessment tools, to improve individual and group communications, to help others manage risk, and to manage conflict creatively. The role of the leader is to develop a repertoire of practices to bring about desired improvement in the organization. Every participant will receive specific feedback on his or her mastery of all four variables of organizational performance, and each will have the opportunity to develop a plan for personal improvement. Every participant will be expected to demonstrate mastery of at least one component of effective leadership. Participants will be involved in two post seminar sessions to report on their progress and continue their learning.

Some of the questions that will be answered in the Academy training are:
